ATLÂNTICA SIMBIOS started in 1999. Since then, it has successfully developed environmental solutions for several public and private organizations in the states of São Paulo, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul and Pará. The diverse range of activities undertaken to date include:

environmental licensing of real estate projects in Ribeirão Preto to the restoration of degraded native vegetation areas in southern Bahia;

management and in loco reuse of the solid waste of building materials to the restoration of native vegetation in areas that were degraded by the dumping of debris;

studies to determine the responsibility of environmental impact to the quantification of greenhouse gas emissions in sugar and alcohol processing plants in the countryside of the state of São Paulo;

corporate eco-efficiency programs to the carbon balance of agricultural activities of rural properties in the countryside of the state of Pará;

making inventories of corporate greenhouse gas emissions to participation in the European Union Emissions Trading System.
